The first case of giving auto-rickshaw for women empowerment


Last year, 5 auto donations were given to 5 needy women by the Chief Minister in collaboration with Suraksha Setu Society by Manav Kalyan Mandal. For the first time in Gujarat, auto-rickshaws were offered by an organization as part of women empowerment.

These 5 auto tow rickshaws donated by the Chief Minister have been named as Pink Rickshaws. Its color is also pink. These five women drive rickshaws to help the family financially. 5 pink auto toe rickshaws were given on loan as an important step to make women self-reliant. 

 

 

These rickshaws are now seen running between Gondal Chokdi and Shaper-Veraval in Rajkot. Women in rickshaws are seen in pink attire as they swim differently than others. Mukeshbhai Merja, president of Manav Kalyan Mandal, Rajkot, and Gitabahen Patel, president of Manav Kalyan Mandal, said that various activities are being carried out to make women self-reliant, help the family financially and raise the living standards of their children.



The down payment was paid by the Security Bridge Society


The down payment of the first 5 auto tow rickshaws (Manav Kalyan Rath) given to women by Suraksha Setu Society has been paid. A daily loan installment of Rs 100 has to be paid, after paying the loan, the rickshaw will be owned by the woman. Atul Auto Tona Jayantibhai Chandra gave relief in the price of rickshaws for women to get on their feet. 

 

 

 

At the camp held at Shapar police station, when the organization talked about giving auto-rickshaws, questions were raised about what society would say if women drove rickshaws. Officials of the organization were ready to explain that they do not have to pay a penny for auto tow rickshaws and now women also drive buses.
